A documented process — not a guarantee we can’t back up.
Every contractor we talk to has a story about an agency that overpromised and underdelivered. Here’s exactly what happens when you work with us — no guesswork, no black box, no vanity metrics.
From where you are today to consistent, qualified leads from local search.
Each stage has a defined deliverable and a clear reason it comes before the next one. Nothing starts before the stage before it is complete.
Audit
We start by finding out exactly where you stand — not guessing. Before we recommend anything, we need to understand what’s actually happening in your current local search presence.
What the audit covers:
- Google Business Profile: category accuracy, service attribute completeness, review health (recency, volume, sentiment), photo quality and quantity
- Website: technical SEO health, on-page content quality, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, mobile rendering
- Current rankings: Local Pack position for your core service terms, organic visibility, and — increasingly important — presence or absence in AI Overview citations
- Competitive landscape: who’s outranking you, specifically why, and what it would realistically take to overtake them in your actual service area
- Citation and NAP consistency: business name, address, and phone consistency across directories and data aggregators
The audit output is a plain-language document you keep regardless of whether you engage us further.
Strategy
Once we know where you are, we build a plan specific to your trade, your service area, and your actual starting position. Not a templated package — a prioritized roadmap that answers the question: given where this business is today, what sequence of moves produces the fastest path to consistent lead flow?
The strategy determines:
- Which funnel stage needs the most work first: Google Search & Maps → AI Search → Entity Authority → Conversion → Booked Jobs
- Which keywords to target first based on real competitive opportunity in your specific market
- What content needs to be built, in what order, and why
- GBP category and attribute corrections
- Review generation approach specific to your project frequency and sales cycle
- Timeline and realistic expectations by milestone — not a blanket “6–12 months” answer
Execution
We build what the strategy calls for — in-house, reviewed by a human, never mass-produced. This is the stage most agencies cut corners on. We don’t.
Execution includes:
- On-page content: service pages, project pages, and topical authority content written for real search intent and structured for AI Overview citation — not keyword-stuffed filler
- Technical SEO: schema markup (including Service, FAQPage, and contractor-specific structured data), page speed optimization, canonical tags, internal link architecture
- GBP management: category and attribute corrections, photo optimization, post strategy, Q&A setup, and ongoing management
- Citation building: consistent NAP across major directories and trade-specific data sources
- Review generation: implementation of a compliant, post-project review system that generates consistent velocity without policy risk
We do not use AI content generators to produce bulk pages. Every piece of content is written with real knowledge of your trade and your market.
Reporting
Plain-language reporting tied to what actually matters to your business — not a dashboard of impressions and traffic numbers that don’t connect to revenue.
What we report on:
- GBP performance: call clicks, direction requests, website clicks — month-over-month
- Ranking movement: Local Pack position for your core service terms, tracked in your actual service area (not nationally)
- Organic visibility: impressions and click trends for your target keywords
- Lead attribution: where leads are coming from, to the extent call tracking and form analytics allow
- What we did last month and what we’re doing next month — in plain language, no jargon
If something isn’t working, we tell you that directly and adjust the strategy. We don’t keep billing for work that isn’t moving the needle.
Three things we don’t do — and why that matters to you.
No guaranteed rankings
Nobody controls Google’s algorithm or how AI systems choose what to cite — including us. Any agency that guarantees a specific ranking position is either overselling what they can control, or planning tactics that put your GBP at real suspension risk.
No mass-produced content
There’s a real pattern in this market of agencies producing hundreds of thin, AI-generated contractor pages. It’s fast and cheap. It also doesn’t work and increasingly gets penalized. Every page we build starts from real research about your business, your trade, and your market.
No fake locations or spam tactics
We don’t build thin “SEO in [city]” pages with no real content behind them, create GBPs for addresses you don’t actually operate from, or use review tactics that violate Google’s policies. These approaches put your existing GBP at risk — and they don’t work long-term.
Things most agencies don’t say upfront — but should.
Local SEO takes time. We’ll tell you what “time” actually means.
Most contractors start seeing measurable GBP improvement — more calls, more direction requests, more visibility for their core terms — within 60–90 days. Consistent organic lead flow from content builds over 4–8 months. The compounding nature of local SEO means results accelerate over time, not decline — but the early months require patience.
Your market difficulty affects what’s realistic.
A bathroom remodeler in a mid-size market with 20 competitors looks very different from one in a major metro with 200. We’ll tell you honestly what your specific competitive landscape means for timeline and expected outcomes before you spend a dollar — and we won’t oversell what’s achievable in your market.
We can’t guarantee leads — we can guarantee the work.
We guarantee a transparent, documented process. We guarantee you’ll know exactly what we’re doing and why at every stage. We guarantee we’ll tell you when something isn’t working rather than keep billing for it. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads or a specific revenue outcome, because no honest agency can.
